Many people suffer from chronic headaches, but aren’t sure if they have cluster headaches or a migraine. Bend Headache Center of Bend, Oregon shares a few of the differences below.
Chronic migraines and chronic cluster headaches both show up as periods of pain, followed by periods of non-pain.
But while migraines are usually made worse by physical activity, cluster headaches aren’t usually affected by movement. Migraines can cause throbbing pain and are accompanied by nausea, vomiting, sensitivity to light or sensitivity to sound. Cluster headaches don’t usually have these other bodily symptoms.
Whether you’re dealing with cluster headaches or migraines, the Bend Headache Center treats them both. Contact us to find out more.
